Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Department have 5 faculty members who offer ideas for clinical and academic teaching, learning & evaluation skills. These abilities include diagnosis & assessment, clinical reasoning & problem solving and decision making. MUHS syllabus emphasis on evidence-based practice and research. The use of preventive and management programs are taught to students.

Department of Cardiovascular / Respiratory Physiotherapy:

Cardiovascular & Respiratory Physiotherapy Department of our college has 3 faculty members. We are involved in teaching training programs of UG students. We work hard for development of Cardiac Rehabilitation & Pulmonary Rehabilitation & Fitness program. As well as acute respiratory care in Intensive care Units.

We encourage students to have evidence based approach to patients care & we provide practical hands-on.

Department of Neurosciences Physiotherapy

Our mission is to give in-depth knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, diseases of the nervous system. It involves the treatment of people with movement & function disorder that have originated from problems within the body’s nervous & neuromuscular system. Neurological Physiotherapy is able to kick start the manage pathways that your brain is struggling to use, to make new pathways through repetitive actions & exercises. With our staff dynamic teaching of case studies, discussions & presentations, we are committed to create excellence & expertise in academics, clinical settings & laying a sound foundation for research.

Department of Community Physiotherapy

Community Physiotherapy is a multidisciplinary approach, which offers Preventive & Rehabilitative services in a community setting. Community Physiotherapy program recognizes your unique needs & seeks to address these needs within your home or place of care. Community based rehabilitation incorporates physical activities & Education for prevention and management of chronic conditions, age related health problems, occupational hazards along with problems associated women’s health including prenatal & post natal care to females.
